I am a turned around person when it comes to seasons! I love fall even though I know that winter is right around the corner. I don't care so much for winter but the spring.......oh, yes! All the bulbs and things you planted in your gardens the last few years start popping their little bits out of the ground.
But the fall! Sweet snuggliness begins. Get out the afghans and quilts and sweaters!! Yes, sweaters! Great cardigan, wrap around, pull over the head sweaters! Sweaters that protect us from the crisp in the air and the gusts that blow our hair all over the place. The gardens wither and lie down. Everything goes back into the ground to get ready for next year but we are all cozy in our snuggly, warm sweaters.
I do my deep cleaning in the fall. Forget spring cleaning! I am digging in and preparing for the long, cold, inside winter. I like all my windows sparkling so they catch every ray of sun that peeks out from behind the clouds. I like all my painting jobs done so the colors on my walls cheer me throughout the long nights ahead. I like everything organized - in it's place - so I can relax. After all, I'll be stuck in here for 3 long months! I have a new window in my kitchen that lets in lots of light ( compared to the garden window that was there before the hail storm required it to be replaced) and my french door is sparkly clean and glowing. So, I'm feeling prepared for the long nights coming.
When everything is done and organized you can really get down to some metal play and bead making. I plan to do just that!

Patty, your pieces are gorgeous I'm looking forward to seeing what you create this winter season.
