The Big Reveal!

Today is the day to reveal the beautiful jewelry pieces that over 360 participants from all over the world have made for this special event. This is my first time to participate in Lori's bead soup blog party so I am full of anticipation! My partner is Marci Abney who has a great blog La Bella Joya. Be sure to check it out!
This is the bead soup I received which included an amazing hand cut copper tree which I love. Thanks Marci!

Here are the two pieces I have made using my soup ingredients. To start I used an etched metal piece I have made for the top of the bracelet. It has a cool, tribal  totem man on it which I love. Then I added the cool rings from Marcie with wire wrapped around them. Then I got an idea from my new friend Jody Engelmann on how to use my strip of sari silk ribbon in my piece. Thank you! Her  Etsy store Mojowoman Jewelry has some fabulous items. check it out!

For the necklace I included Marcie's awesome hand cut tree, some semi- precious jasper, a clasp and a great clay disk! I added a couple etched copper washers of mine. :o)

I totally enjoyed meeting everyone and have had the best time exchanging goodies and ideas. Thanks to everyone and Lori for this blog party! Now enjoy viewing all the great work everyone has done! Here's the list of links:
